Legal Assistant / Floater - Litigation - Palm Beach Gardens

Well respected South Florida Litigation Law Firm is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team in a floater capacity, providing support to a team of litigators in there Palm Beach Gardens office. This is a temporary to hire position starting right away.

If you have solid litigation experience, are organized, tech-savvy, and enjoy working for a great team of attorneys, this may be a great fit.

In this role, you’ll be covering for legal assistants and secretaries when they’re out, helping with overflow work, scanning and e-filing documents, and keeping things running smoothly around the office.

You’ll support attorneys who practice Litigation, and also have the opportunity to assist other practices, including Corporate & Business Transactions, Securities, and Estate & Trusts. Strong Outlook, Word, and Excel skills are a preferred. They’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and able to juggle multiple priorities with a positive attitude.

What you’ll need:

• 5+ years of legal assistant experience
• Strong writing, grammar, and communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good Microsoft Word skills, experience using Excel
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects

• Pleasant work environment and cooperative team.
• Full-time, on-site in Palm Beach Gardens
• Hours: 8:30–5:30 or 9:00–6:00
• Parking provided
• Once permanent, firm offers a salary in the $60-70K range, healthcare, and 401k, along with 16 PTO days.
