Job Description

Our client is looking for a Vendor Management Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, solving problems, and keeping multiple tasks moving forward.

You don't need to have a traditional vendor management background to be successful in this role. Experience in customer service, administrative support, operations, purchasing, coordination, account management, dispatch, or similar environments can provide a strong foundation for the position.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate with vendors and clients by phone and email and help resolve questions or issues.
  • Review work orders and requests to make sure information is complete and accurate.
  • Follow up with vendors to keep projects and requests on schedule.
  • Monitor vendor performance and help ensure work meets quality expectations.
  • Review costs and make decisions within established company guidelines.
  • Help identify and contact vendors when services are needed.
  • Track multiple requests, deadlines, and priorities while keeping information organized.
  • Review documents and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain clear communication and documentation throughout the process.
  • Use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel to manage information and daily tasks.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in customer service, administration, operations, purchasing, sales, coordination, vendor support, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable communicating professionally by phone and email.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including basic Excel functions such as sorting and filtering.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

A Plus, But Not Required

Experience with property management, real estate, foreclosure, property preservation, FHA requirements, or vendor management is helpful, but we are also interested in candidates with strong transferable experience.

If you're a customer-focused, organized professional who enjoys coordinating with people, solving problems, and keeping things on track, we'd love to hear from you!
