Our client, a local and growing manufacturer is seeking highly skilled CNC Machinists for their multiple openings on the 2nd shift. See the details below and apply today to be a part of a dynamic team!

  • Pay rate of $22 - $40/hr. (depending on experience and position);
  • 2nd shift schedule + Overtime when available;

Experience with the following is a plus!

  • Mazak, Okuma, Haas, Mori Seiki, Doosan, DMG Mori, Makino, Brother, Fanuc Controls, Mitsubishi Controls, Siemens Controls

What You’ll Do:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or machining centers
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
  • Perform machine setups, tool changes, and program adjustments
  • Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges
  • Inspect parts to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary offsets
  • Troubleshoot machining issues to maximize quality and productivity
  • Maintain production documentation and inspection records
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality requirements
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet customer delivery schedules

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining experience (or equivalent technical training)
  • Experience operating CNC lathes and/or CNC mills
  • Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Setup experience
  • Multi-axis machining experience (3-, 4-, or 5-axis)
  • Programming experience (Mastercam, GibbsCAM, ESPRIT, or similar)
  • Experience machining stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, Inconel, or other exotic materials
  • Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift
  • Ability to safely operate machinery and material handling equipment
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, coolants, and moving equipment
