Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver will operate Fedex vehicles to deliver packages primarily on local routes. This role involves safely handling and delivering packages up to 150 lbs while ensuring timely and professional customer service. Availability for weekend shifts and peak season work through the holiday period is required. Candidates must meet physical requirements and licensing standards to maintain safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages safely and accurately to local destinations
• Operate delivery vehicles and perform daily vehicle inspections
• Follow safety regulations and comply with DOT requirements
• Plan efficient routes to meet delivery and pickup schedules
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
• Handle and load packages securely to prevent damage
• Adhere to assigned work schedules including weekends and peak seasons

Required Qualifications

• Valid chauffeur license
• Current DOT medical certificate

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level delivery experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with route navigation and time management
• Strong customer service and safety awareness skills
• Physical stamina to handle lifting and prolonged vehicle operation
