Apartment Property Manager


Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community. The ideal candidate is a confident, organized leader with strong leasing, financial, resident-relations, and team-management experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all daily operations of the apartment community
  • Lead, train, and support leasing, administrative, and maintenance teams
  • Maintain occupancy goals through effective leasing and resident-retention strategies
  • Monitor rent collections, delinquencies, renewals, and lease compliance
  • Prepare budgets, financial reports, variance reports, and operational updates
  • Review invoices, approve expenses, and monitor property performance
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and maintenance personnel
  • Conduct property inspections and ensure curb appeal is maintained
  • Address resident concerns professionally and promptly
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and applicable regulations
  • Manage marketing efforts, leasing activity, and online reputation
  • Maintain accurate resident, property, and financial records
  • Communicate regularly with regional management and ownership


Qualifications:

  • Previous Property Manager experience in the multifamily industry required
  • Strong knowledge of leasing, collections, budgeting, and property operations
  • Experience supervising and developing onsite teams
  • Proficiency with property-management software such as Yardi, OneSite, RealPage, ResMan, AppFolio, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and landlord-tenant regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and dependable attendance
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
  • Affordable housing, tax-credit, HUD, or Section 8 experience is a plus
