Warehouse General Laborer

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to support daily warehouse operations and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate has experience using RF scanners, picking and packing customer orders, performing quality control inspections, managing inventory, and safely handling materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Monday-Friday

7am-3:30pm

Steel toe boots are required

Key Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners, handheld scanners, pick lists, or warehouse management systems.
• Pack orders according to company standards while ensuring products are properly protected for shipment.
• Verify product numbers, quantities, sizes, descriptions, and order information before packing.
• Perform quality control (QC) inspections to identify damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing products.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet daily shipping and fulfillment requirements.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and put away incoming merchandise and materials.
• Label, organize, and stage products for shipment or storage.
• Perform inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and report shortages, overages, damaged goods, or other issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Replenish picking locations and maintain properly stocked warehouse locations.
• Sort, consolidate, palletize, wrap, and stage completed orders for shipment.
• Prepare shipping cartons, pallets, labels, and documentation as required.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and OSHA requirements.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment when authorized, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, returns, restocking, and general warehouse duties as needed.
• Follow established procedures for handling damaged, returned, or misplaced merchandise.
• Meet established productivity, accuracy, attendance, and quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, shipping/receiving personnel, and other departments.
• Perform other general warehouse and labor duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, logistics, or general labor experience preferred.
• Experience using an RF scanner or handheld barcode scanner.
• Experience with order picking and packing.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and stock replenishment.
• Experience performing **quality control or order verification
