HVAC Tradespeople

Location: Cleveland, OH

Pay: $22–$32/hour, depending on experience and skill level

Position Overview

Power Labor is seeking experienced HVAC tradespeople for active commercial construction projects in the Cleveland area. We are looking for 2–4 skilled tradespeople to join crews working on senior housing projects.

The work will vary depending on the project and your level of experience. Candidates with solid general HVAC installation experience are encouraged to apply, as well as more experienced tradespeople with a background in brazing, mini-splits, and complex heating, cooling, and refrigerant systems.

Responsibilities

Depending on experience and project assignment, responsibilities may include:

• Installing sheet metal and ductwork
• Installing and connecting mini-split systems
• Installing exhaust fans and related HVAC equipment
• General commercial HVAC installation
• Brazing and refrigerant line installation
• Working with heating and cooling systems
• Working with more complex refrigerant systems
• Assisting with equipment installation and startup
• Reading plans and following project specifications
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized jobsite

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on HVAC experience required
• Commercial construction experience preferred
• Ability to work safely and efficiently on an active construction site
• Comfortable using common HVAC tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Experience with brazing and refrigerant systems is a plus and may qualify candidates for higher-paying assignments

Pay is negotiable based on experience and skill level, with expected rates generally ranging from $22–$32/hour.
