Key Responsibilities
- Weigh, blend, and deliver press-ready inks to meet production schedules
- Perform color matching and quality checks using X-Rite or similar equipment
- Make ink adjustments at press to maintain color consistency and minimize downtime
- Document production data, QC results, and corrective actions
- Assist with scheduling and estimating ink requirements for upcoming jobs
- Maintain inventory levels, including managing excess and work-off materials
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety protocols and site requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with ink mixing, color matching, or printing/packaging operations
- Hands-on use of color measurement tools (X-Rite or equivalent)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of quality control and press support processes
- Good math and measurement skills
