HVAC Instructor

TYPE: Heating/Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVAC) Teacher - Full Time

START: November 2026

LOCATION: Lehigh Career and Technical Inst., 4500 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville, PA 18078

CURRICULUM: Responsible to offer a Heating/Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Program within the LCTI curriculum model

CONTRACT:           Salary, benefits, and conditions per current negotiated agreement between the LCTI Joint Operating Committee and the LCTI Education Association.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.    Successful credential review for Occupational Competency area for HVAC Maintenance Technology PA (Air Conditioning 2010).

2.    Minimum four (4) years’ full-time work experience above & beyond training period.

3.    EPA Section 608 Certification required.

4.    Willingness to pursue and maintain industry recognized credentials, certifications, and/or program accreditation.

5.    Willingness to pursue and maintain permanent teaching certification (CIP code 47.0201 - Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Refrigeration Maintenance Technology/Technician).

6.    Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7.    Experience working with high school youth a plus, but not required

8.    Capable of fulfilling all job responsibilities as indicated on the LCTI CTE Teacher Position Description.

9.    Act 34, 151, & 114 clearances required
