General Warehouse Clerks

Location: Memphis, TN
Schedule: Temp to Hire 
Starting Pay: $14.00

Openwork is hiring dependable General Warehouse Workers for a fast-paced distribution warehouse. In this role, you will help receive, store, pick, pack, and ship products while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently as part of a team.

• Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

• Use RF scanners, pick lists, or warehouse management systems to fulfill orders accurately.

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming shipments.

• Move materials throughout the warehouse using pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.

• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.

• Perform quality checks to ensure products are free from damage and orders are accurate.

• Package and label products according to customer and shipping requirements.

• Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organization.

• Process returned merchandise by inspecting, sorting, and restocking items when appropriate.

• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean work area.

• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Forklift certification or experience is a plus but not required.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:

• Order Picking

• Packing and Shipping

• Receiving

• Inventory Control

• Quality Inspection

• Returns Processing
