Position: Carpenter Helper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Carpenter Helper to assist skilled carpenters with construction, remodeling, and repair projects. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, works safely, and can perform physical tasks in a fast-paced job-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters with framing, drywall, trim, doors, cabinets, and general woodworking.
• Measure, cut, carry, and organize lumber and other materials.
• Load and unload tools and construction materials.
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
• Prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after projects.
• Follow instructions from lead carpenters and supervisors.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all company and job-site safety procedures.
• Perform other general construction duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or carpentry experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow basic instructions.
• Physically able to lift materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Willingness to learn and develop carpentry skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry materials up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
