Pay Rate: $55-66K/Annual
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Parts Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Parts Department at our Huntsville, TX location. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and solid knowledge of parts operations within the agricultural, lawn & garden, commercial, turf, or farm equipment industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all daily Parts Department operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Lead, train, schedule, and supervise Parts Department employees.
- Order parts and equipment while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Issue purchase orders and process parts returns.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, shortages, shrinkage, and obsolete inventory.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts.
- Ensure customer and Service Department parts orders are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Service, and other departments to meet customer needs.
- Monitor department expenses and work toward established profitability goals.
- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for parts and accessories.
- Promote and merchandise parts and accessory product lines.
- Prepare and provide department performance reports to management.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
- Ensure the Parts Department operates in a professional, organized, and safe manner.
Qualifications:
- Previous parts management or parts department leadership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of agricultural, farm, turf, commercial, or lawn & garden equipment parts strongly preferred.
- Strong inventory management and purchasing experience.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
