Bright Achievements is a clinician-owned and operated ABA provider dedicated to delivering individualized, high-quality services to children and families. We are seeking an experienced Clinical Administrator to join our team at our Apex, NC clinic.


This position is ideal for a strong BCBA who enjoys clinical leadership, mentoring other BCBAs, supporting Behavior Technicians, collaborating with families and schools, and maintaining high standards of clinical quality.


Position Overview

The Clinical Administrator will provide clinical leadership and support across the Apex clinic while maintaining a caseload and supporting our BCBA team. This role works closely with BCBAs, BTs, families, administration, and the Clinical Director to ensure quality services, effective staffing, and strong clinical outcomes. 


Key Responsibilities:


Clinical & Caseload Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clinical caseload and provide parent training, supervision, and treatment planning according to prescribed requirements
  • Conduct and document assessments and treatment plan updates
  • Develop and review individualized programs and behavior support plans
  • Monitor client progress and provide clinical support when progress is limited
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and other service providers as needed
  • Monitor schedules, cancellations, and adjustments in Rethink
  • Provide case coverage and initiate cases until appropriate staffing is in place


BCBA Leadership & Support

  • Facilitate case transitions between BCBAs
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, consultation, and problem-solving support to BCBAs
  • Monitor clinical performance and develop support plans when needed
  • Support BCBAs with assessments, goal selection, clinical narratives, and documentation
  • Provide training on Rethink, skill acquisition programs, and behavior support plans
  • Conduct program reviews and provide feedback to maintain clinical quality
  • Assist with assessment reviews and authorization requirements


BT Training & Support

  • Provide individual and group training to Behavior Technicians as needed
  • Conduct RBT Competency Assessments
  • Develop BT support plans in collaboration with case BCBAs
  • Assist with Rethink training and implementation
  • Collaborate with administration and the Clinical Director to address staffing barriers


Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation
  • Review incident reports and follow up with administration as needed
  • Identify and monitor scheduling and billing discrepancies
  • Maintain clinical resources, assessment materials, and documentation examples
  • Ensure clinical services are delivered consistently with company and payer requirements


Administrative & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Maintain BCBA and staffing trackers
  • Monitor case progress and staffing needs
  • Document meetings and communicate important updates to appropriate team members
  • Attend clinical and leadership meetings
  • Review and approve community outing requests
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director and administration on ongoing clinical and operational needs


Qualifications

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience with clinic based services preferred
  • Experience providing ABA services and supervising BCBAs/BTs
  • Strong knowledge of assessments, treatment planning, behavior intervention, and clinical documentation
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to mentor and support other clinicians
  • Experience with Rethink Behavioral Health preferred
  • Experience with quality assurance and clinical documentation preferred
