Appliance Technician

Appliance Technician in the Marine / Yacht Industry.

We do installation, diagnosis, repairs and maintenance of Washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, Ovens and cooktops on yachts.

We service both Miele and MKN equipment, Brand specific training will be required as well as monthly online training.

Must have own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting: Inspect appliances to find mechanical, electrical, or electronic problems.
• Repair & Maintenance: Fix or replace broken parts, hoses, wiring, and motors using standard hand and power tools.
• Installation: Set up new large appliances, connecting necessary water lines and electrical sources safely.
• Customer Service: Explain issues and repair, give proper operating advice.
• Record Keeping: Document all services performed, parts used, and invoices via work orders or basic computer software.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED; vocational school or trade certification is preferred.
• Experience: 1 or more years of hands-on mechanical, electrical, or appliance repair experience.
• Certifications: Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds regularly and work in tight or awkward spaces.
