About the Role:
Apothecary Drugs Inc in Lansing, MI is looking for a reliable and friendly Delivery Driver to join our team! In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive their medications and pharmacy products safely and on time. If you take pride in providing excellent service and love being on the road, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver prescription medications and pharmacy products to customers throughout the Lansing, MI area
- Verify delivery accuracy by confirming orders and obtaining customer signatures as required
- Handle medications and sensitive packages with care, maintaining proper confidentiality and compliance standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked delivery vehicle
- Communicate proactively with pharmacy staff regarding delivery statuses, delays, or issues
- Provide courteous, professional customer service during each delivery interaction
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company delivery procedures
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organized with strong time management skills
- Ability to navigate local Lansing, MI routes efficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 30–50 lbs as needed
- Respect for patient privacy and HIPAA compliance standards
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not required
