Dental Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated Chairside Dental Assistant who is looking for a long-term dental home. In this vital role, you will support our dentists (we have an amazing new associate dentist) and dental hygienists to ensure our clinic runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Someone who works well in a team environment and is x-ray certified.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Provide exceptional chairside assistance to dentists during a variety of dental procedures.
• Patient Comfort: Welcome and prepare patients for treatments, ensuring a comfortable, compassionate, and anxiety-free experience.
• Clinic Efficiency: Sterilize instruments, set up treatment rooms, and maintain strict infection control, HIPAA and safety protocols.
• Care Coordination: Bridge the gap between clinical care and the front desk by updating patient records and post-operative instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for patient care
• Assist dentists during all treatment
• Take digital dental images and digital scanning as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatments
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control and sterilization protocols
• Manage sterilization and maintenance of dental equipment
• Schedule patient appointments, create treatment plans and patient walk outs
