Ultrasound Technologist

Pride Health is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist to support our client's healthcare facility in Houston, TX
 
Job Details: 
Schedule:  8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 5 days per week
Location: Houston, TX  
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: 7 months (possibility of extension)
Pay Range: $51.00 to $54.00/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  
 
Duties: 

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Perform a significant volume of breast and breast-related ultrasound imaging.
• Perform ultrasound examinations involving the abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, and vascular areas.
• Review provider orders and verify exam requirements before beginning procedures.
• Prepare and properly position patients for diagnostic examinations.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide clear instructions throughout the exam.

Requirements: 

• Education: High School
• Certification(s): ARDMS certification in ABD, OB/GYN, or RVT
• Years of experience:  1+ year
