Material Hander/ Warehouse Operator

• Loading and Unloading: Move incoming and outgoing shipments on and off delivery trucks and loading docks.
• Inventory Control: Sort, label, and store materials in designated storage areas while updating records.
• Order Picking: Read pick tickets or orders to pull, pack, and stage products for shipping or assembly.
• Equipment Operation: Safely drive and maintain machinery like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Inspect equipment before use and keep work areas free of safety hazards

Key Requirements and Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts, bend, and lift heavy items by hand.
• Basic Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred by most employers.
• Attention to Detail: Skill in tracking inventory counts accurately and reporting damaged goods.
• Forklift Experience: Ability to operate machinery to move materials throughout the warehouse
