Apartment Maintenance Technician

Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a well-established multifamily community. The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and skilled in completing apartment repairs, work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turns.

Responsibilities:

• Complete resident work orders accurately and efficiently
• Diagnose and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Perform make-ready duties, including minor drywall, painting, and fixture repairs
• Assist with apartment turns and property inspections
• Complete preventative maintenance throughout the community
• Maintain pools, common areas, grounds, and maintenance facilities as needed
• Respond professionally to resident and management requests
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Participate in an on-call rotation when required

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience required
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs
• EPA certification strongly preferred
• CPO certification is a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must own basic maintenance tools
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and work in various weather conditions
• Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Professional appearance and dependable attendance
• Must be able to pass applicable screening requirements
