General Laborer – Landfill Cleanup – $15/hr

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch
Hours: 40 hours per week

A & Associates is looking for eager and professional candidates to work as full time Waste Recycling Laborer.

About the Position

A & Associates is hiring a General Laborer to support operations at WM’s Tontitown Landfill in Springdale, Arkansas. The primary responsibility is picking up litter and debris around the landfill to help keep the site clean.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position that includes general cleanup and other manual labor tasks under direct supervision.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick up litter and debris throughout the landfill grounds.
• Lift and move materials as directed.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Help with digging and refilling holes as needed.
• Follow site safety rules and wear required protective equipment.
• Complete other general labor and cleanup tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No previous experience required; general labor or outdoor work experience is helpful.
• Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.
• Ability to perform physical work, including handling objects weighing less than 30 pounds throughout most of the workday.
• Willingness to work outdoors around dirt, odors, noise, and changing weather conditions.

Required Work Gear

• Steel-toe shoes are required.
• Gloves are provided at the site.
