Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and bilingual (English / Spanish) Medical Assistant with 3+ years of specialized OB-GYN experience to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional clinical and administrative support, ensuring high quality care for our obstetric and gynecological patients. You will serve as a vital bridge for our Spanish-speaking patient population, guiding them through prenatal care, routine screenings, and specialized procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Patient Care: Escort patients to exam rooms, measure vital signs, document medical histories, and confirm chief complaints in the EHR
• OB-GYN Procedures: Prepare exam rooms and assist providers with specialized procedures, including colposcopies, biopsies, PAP Smears, IKUD insertions/removals, and ultrasounds.
• Maternal Care: Perform routine prenatal checks, check fetal heart tones, and provide standard OB education under provider direction.
• Sterilization: Clean, sterilize, and pack surgical instruments according to OSHA and clinical guidelines.
