Primary Function:

This position is responsible for traveling to clients and sites to provide service and repairs on emergency vehicles and ambulances. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to respond to roadside service calls for emergency vehicles and ambulances.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and internal team to ensure a high level of service is delivered with each service call. 
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, air brake, suspension and lighting issues.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs accurately and timely.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely documentation of work performed and completion repair orders electronically.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and well stocked service vehicle.
  • Pick up and deliver emergency vehicles and ambulances to and from customer locations. 
  • Operate a forklift as needed (or willingness to be trained). 
  • Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues. 
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies. 
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class B license (required) 
  • Clean driving record 
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 75 lbs 
  • Dependable and able to work independently 
  • Strong attention to safety and detail


Experience:

High School Diploma or GED, 3 years of vehicle repair and service work. Previous experience driving emergency vehicles, ambulances, or other commercial vehicles is desired.
