Job Description
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing operations within the Aerospace & Defense industry. This position is responsible for performing functions associated with manufacturing operations, including working with engineers on setup and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
The Manufacturing Technician will use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. The individual may also determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process and work with engineers in conducting experiments.
Responsibilities
- Perform functions associated with manufacturing operations.
- Work with engineers on setup and calibration tasks.
- Perform rework and quality testing related to parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Use programs and equipment to collect and evaluate operating data.
- Conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
- Determine and assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify manufacturing processes.
- Work with engineers in conducting manufacturing experiments.
- Follow established processes and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Identify problems and issues in straightforward situations and escalate issues to the appropriate supervisor when needed.
- Support operational targets within the assigned work area.
- Communicate with team members and other department contacts to obtain or provide information and reach agreement on work-related matters.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, OR
- Associate degree/2 years post-secondary education and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- J-STD and IPC-A-610 certification/knowledge is required.
- Hands-on experience with torque tools, including hand/manual and automated torque tools.
- Relevant manufacturing, production, assembly, rework, calibration, or quality testing experience.

Work Schedule

Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Malabar, FL and able to work the required early-morning schedule.
