About this job
- Provide friendly and professional support to patients.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to general questions.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Check patients in and out.
- Update patient demographic and insurance information.
- Collect and accurately process patient payments.
- Communicate with patients, medical staff, insurance providers, and other departments.
- Verify insurance coverage and process referrals as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Receive and relay messages to clinical staff.
- Provide accurate and timely service in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills.
- Possess strong computer and organizational skills.
- Previous healthcare, medical-office, receptionist, or customer-service experience preferred.
