Member Service Representative - Now Hiring

Talquin Electric Cooperative is seeking a service-oriented Member Services Representative for its Quincy and Lake Jackson locations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least one year of general office experience preferred
• Experience processing, handling, and accounting for payments strongly preferred
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, tactful, and service-oriented demeanor
• Strong clerical, organizational, and recordkeeping abilities
• Ability to accurately process payments and service requests
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
• Ability to understand and follow policies, procedures, and detailed instructions
• Ability to clearly explain policies, procedures, fees, and charges to customers
• Comfortable working directly with the public in a professional office environment
• Valid driver’ s license required
• Must live within a 30-minute drive of a Talquin Electric office
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check
• Must be available Monday through Friday from 8: 00 a.M. To 5: 00 p.M.
