Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a varied shift assignment requiring 2+ years of independent experience and current Hawaii licensure.
Details
- 13-week assignment in the Diagnostic Imaging department
- Varied shifts with an average of 3 days of call per month
- No guaranteed hours or guaranteed time off requests
- Must be assigned a dosimetry badge for radiation safety monitoring
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
- Current ARRT certification and BLS certification required
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency operating DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
- Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, Konica DR, and Epic EMR preferred
- Must function independently without supervision and maintain knowledge of radiation safety and protocols
Additional Information
- Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, requiring arrival on island the Friday before a Monday start
- No RTO will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
- Candidates without an active State of Hawaii license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of offer
