Description
American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a critical access hospital serving rural Montana patients.
Details
- Outpatient OT setting within a critical access hospital
- Day shift, 4x10 hour schedule from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Every 3rd weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Facility serves outpatient, inpatient, home visits, long term care, and swing bed patients
- Epic EMR preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in current discipline required
- BLS certification required
- MT OT license required if applicable, may be obtained after offer
- Epic charting experience preferred
Additional Information
- Perform assessments, evaluations, plans of care, reassessments, and discharge planning
- Treat orthopedic conditions including hip fracture, total hip replacement, knee injuries, and total knee replacement
- Provide home exercise programs, patient/family education, and safety/injury prevention instruction
- Experience with adult rehabilitation, CVA rehabilitation, arthritis, and lower extremity care preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- Maximum of 6 days RTO
