FSQA Technician

We are seeking an experienced FSQA Technician for a well-established food manufacturing company in Ontario, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with food manufacturing quality assurance experience.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor production runs and intervene when quality deviations occur.
• Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
• Perform raw material, in-process, and finished product quality inspections.
• Conduct GMP inspections throughout the facility.
• Report quality, food safety, and safety concerns immediately to management.
• Calibrate thermometers, scales, and other laboratory equipment.
• Complete pre-operational inspections and line clearances.
• Verify formulas are available and correctly followed during production.
• Create hold tags, document incidents, and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of Quality Control or FSQA experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry preferred.
• HACCP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, GLPs, GDPs, and food safety standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Strong math, organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Compensation:

• $25.00 per hour
