SkySource Solutions is seeking experienced Assembly Technician III professionals for a leading advanced manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with electro-mechanical assembly experience, cable and harness assembly expertise, and the ability to work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment.

Position Summary

The Assembly Technician III performs a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on complex assemblies and sub-assemblies. This role requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret engineering documentation while maintaining high-quality production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and assemble mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies
• Perform electro-mechanical and electronic assembly operations
• Complete wiring, cable assembly, and cable harness installation
• Perform hand soldering and component installation
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic schematics, engineering drawings, and blueprints
• Conduct helium leak testing, module testing, and sub-assembly testing
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
• Troubleshoot assembly and test issues
• Follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures
• Ensure all quality standards and specifications are met
• Collaborate effectively with production teams, quality personnel, and supervisors
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or cleanroom experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and bench tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cable and Harness Assembly experience
• Wire Harness fabrication and installation experience
• Hand soldering experience
• Helium leak testing experience
• Module and sub-assembly testing experience
• Semiconductor manufacturing experience
• Associate's degree or technical coursework in electronics, manufacturing, or a related field

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
