CDL Class A or B Driver - Moving Company

Barstow Transfer & Storage is hiring a dependable CDL Class A or Class B Driver to join our moving team in [City, State]. This position combines professional driving with hands-on moving work. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, customer-friendly, physically capable, and comfortable driving local and/or long-distance routes.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks, tractor-trailers, or other commercial moving vehicles.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload household or commercial goods.
• Protect furniture and property using pads, straps, dollies, and proper lifting techniques.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate mileage, delivery, inspection, and hours-of-service records.
• Follow DOT regulations, company procedures, and all traffic laws.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and moving crews.
• Help lead the moving crew and keep each job organized and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License.
• Current DOT medical certificate.
• Clean or acceptable motor vehicle record.
