Yard Equipment and Materials Coordinator

Job Description

Position Summary:

Frontline is looking for a motivated individual to be hired as a Yard Equipment and Materials Coordinator, you will maintain efficient operations by overseeing the tracking, organization, and management of shop, yard, equipment, vehicles, tools, and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and track a log of equipment, vehicles, small tools, and materials, ensuring accurate records are kept up to date.
• Organize materials stored at Yard
• Organize and maintain a clean and tidy shop area.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials to foremen as required, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
• Perform basic checks on equipment to ensure each item is working properly.
• Arrange for regular servicing of vehicles and equipment, including taking vehicles to service centers.
• Place orders for materials as needed, ensuring there is enough supply for ongoing projects.
• Coordinate the pickup of materials from suppliers when necessary.
• Organize records related to equipment, materials, and expenses.
• Maintain a good driving record while carrying out tasks that involve driving company vehicles.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and using organizational tools.
• Knowledge of Diesel Mechanic or Auto Mechanic a plus

Physical Requirements:

• The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employees may be required to drive. Employees are frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms including above the shoulders, climb or balance, stoop; kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception vision is required.

Compensation:

DOE $24-$26/hour
