Facilities Engineer V

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage equipment upgrade/replacement plans and building upgrades
• Oversee facilities engineering projects
• Maintain control systems for chilled water, water filtration, compound delivery, silos, and building automation systems (BAS)
• Manage outside vendors and contractors across HVAC, chillers, roofing, plumbing, cleaning services, lawn care, and snow removal
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Establish project plans including scope, schedule, cost estimates, procurement strategy, and acceptance criteria
• Provide project management and coordination for key facilities projects
• Evaluate and justify projects with supporting documentation
• Prepare appropriation requests as necessary
• Provide project updates to plant personnel and staff
• Develop and upgrade control systems for chilled water, water filtration, compound delivery, silos, BAS, and data monitoring systems
• Support plant safety and environmental programs
• Ensure compliance with external regulations and internal company policies

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
