Injection Molding Operator

Luxor Staffing is hiring an Injection Molding Worker paying $18 per hour with 2nd shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate or tend plastic injection molding machines as assigned.
• Remove finished molded parts from machines or conveyors.
• Visually inspect parts for defects, damage, contamination, or other quality concerns.
• Trim or remove excess plastic, gates, or flash from molded parts as required.
• Perform basic assembly or secondary operations as assigned.
• Package, label, count, and prepare finished products according to work instructions.
• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
• Maintain proper identification and separation of products and materials.
• Follow established procedures for handling rejected or nonconforming parts.
• Notify the supervisor or Quality Department when defects or production problems are identified.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow clean-room gowning, hygiene, and contamination-control procedures when working in designated clean-room areas.
• Follow all company safety rules, work instructions, quality procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices, as applicable.
• Meet established production and quality standards.
• Assist with general housekeeping and other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or plastic injection molding experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to quality.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to accurately complete production documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Must be willing and able to follow clean-room requirements when assigned to clean-room production.
