FULL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Project Planner & Supply Chain Analyst to lead project planning, production scheduling, capacity planning, and data-driven decision-making activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production planning, demand analysis, inventory management, and reporting within a manufacturing or operations environment.


This role requires strong expertise in data analysis and reporting, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills serving as the primary tool for planning, forecasting, KPI tracking, and business decision support. The Project Planner & Supply Chain Analyst will work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Program Management to ensure accurate schedules, material availability, and successful project execution.


The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Project & Production Planning:
    • Developing and maintaining integrated project and production schedules to support customer delivery requirements.
    • Coordinating production, procurement, inventory, and logistics activities to ensure schedule adherence.
    • Monitoring schedule performance and proactively identifying risks, delays, and resource constraints.
    • Managing capacity planning activities and recommending adjustments to support demand fluctuations.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Analyzing production, inventory, and supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Developing and maintaining dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics for management review.
    • Generating weekly and monthly reports on production performance, inventory levels, schedule attainment, material shortages, and operational KPIs.
    • Supporting business decisions through detailed data analysis and forecasting models.

The selected candidate will also possess:

  • Experience & Background:
    • 5+ years of experience in Project Planning, Production Planning, Master Scheduling, or Supply Chain Planning.
    • Proven track record of developing and maintaining production schedules within a manufacturing environment.
    • Experience creating executive-level reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management presentations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Technical Competencies:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, Complex Formulas, Macros/VBA preferred, Dashboard Development).
    • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
    • Basic experience with Power BI.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Problem-solving: A rapid troubleshooting mindset for complex global logistics bottlenecks.
    • Communication: Ability to translate dense datasets into strategic, plain-language insights for company executives.
    • Negotiation: Comfort collaborating with third-party vendors on pricing and lead times.
  • Education & Certifications (Preferred):
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
    • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
    • PMP certification is a plus.


Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000/year
