Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment in the Oakland area, requiring an active CA PT license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Home health setting covering Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, Albany, Emeryville, Piedmont, Richmond, Rodeo, El Cerrito, El Sobrante, Hercules, Pinole, San Pablo, Crockett, and Kensington territories
- Day shift schedule with possible weekend coverage required
- May require occasional travel outside the assigned service area to maintain caseload
- Willingness to treat COVID-positive and PUI patients may be required
Requirements
- Current CA PT license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and auto registration required
- Must provide documentation of TB test (annual), MMR, Varicella, HepB, TDap (within 10 years), and annual flu vaccination
- Must pass drug screen and physical exam
Additional Information
- Main responsibilities include performing home health visits such as evaluations, re-evaluations, OASIS assessments, routine visits, and discharges
- Documentation, visit time, travel time, and communication with patients and physicians are all part of daily responsibilities
- Former employees are not eligible for this travel assignment
- All requested time off must be disclosed prior to assignment confirmation
