Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health assignment requiring a current CA PT license and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Home health setting covering assigned territories in Contra Costa County, including areas such as Walnut Creek, Danville, Concord, Antioch, and surrounding communities
- Day shift schedule with possible weekend coverage as needed
- Additional travel outside the assigned area may be required to maintain caseload
- Must be willing to see COVID-positive and COVID PUI patients if applicable
Requirements
- Current CA Physical Therapist license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- BLS certification required
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and auto registration required
- Required documentation includes TB test (annual), MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap (within 10 years), Flu vaccination (annual), drug screen, and physical exam
Additional Information
- Main responsibilities include evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and routine home health visits
- May be required to travel outside the primary service area to maintain a full caseload
- Former employees of this facility are not eligible for consideration
