Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience to provide evaluation and treatment services in a hospital-based clinic setting.
Details
- Outpatient physical therapy setting on hospital campus
- Schedule consists of 4x10-hour shifts, alternating weekdays, 40 hours per week
- Guaranteed hours do not apply on holidays for clinic workers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy required
- Current Colorado PT license (DORA) or Compact license required, if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience required; 3-5 years preferred
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Mandatory flu vaccination required October 1 through April 1, no declinations accepted
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans for a variety of diagnoses
- Focus on improving patient strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function
- Educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
- Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
