Job Summary:
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position in Havertown, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy to patients with various conditions, including cerebrovascular accidents, amputations, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic issues, and Parkinson's disease. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dedicated acute rehab unit within a general healthcare setting, supporting patient recovery and functional independence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), BLS certification, and a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in inpatient rehabilitation, neuro-related caseload, and good time management skills.
- Additional Information: The unit has 9 beds with typical patient ratios of approximately 4:1. Equipment used includes Lite Gait, MoVeo, NuStep, and bariatric parallel bars. Electronic health records are maintained in ProDoc. The team values adaptable, flexible, and communicative professionals. Scrubs are required, primarily navy blue, with no blue jeans allowed.
