Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Basic math skills, including addition and multiplication, required for measurements, inspections, and production reporting.

Experience Requirements

  • Previous machine operator, assembly operator, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use basic inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gage blocks.
  • Experience performing quality checks, production reporting, and basic equipment maintenance is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain efficient machine operation.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production goals.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, and move throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to use repetitive hand motions and operate manufacturing equipment safely.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Comfortable working in a production environment while adhering to all safety requirements.

Job Duties

  • Operate assembly and manufacturing equipment to produce and package electrical fasteners according to production schedules.
  • Perform routine product inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain optimal operating speeds.
  • Complete daily production records, reports, and documentation accurately.
  • Perform autonomous maintenance and basic equipment upkeep to support efficient operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Maintain 5S workplace organization and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve productivity, quality, and delivery goals.
  • Perform additional production and operational duties as assigned.
