School Psychologist in Denver, CO

Make a meaningful impact working with students who have significant behavioral and emotional needs at a specialized setting for grades 6–12. This contract role, based on-site near Denver, offers an opportunity to provide essential mental health services at a program dedicated to students who benefit from intensive support not available in traditional placements. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated staff and play a critical part in IEP processes, evaluations, and supporting social-emotional growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Colorado Department of Education SSP (Special Service Provider) License with School Psychologist or School Social Worker endorsements required
• Experience working with middle and high school students who have severe behavioral and emotional needs, such as in facility placements or day treatment environments
• Ability to begin as soon as possible and commit through the end of the academic year (up to late May)
• Strong collaboration skills to work closely with program staff and leadership
• Capacity to manage a caseload of up to 30 students at maximum, currently serving 23
• Prepared to complete background check and fingerprinting for credentialing

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver mental health and support services as specified in students’ IEPs
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and development
• Partner with staff to address social-emotional and behavioral needs
• Maintain documentation and meet compliance expectations for special education services
