Clinical - Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

Support both front and back office functions, including greeting and rooming patients

Schedule appointments and answer phones efficiently

Take vital signs and assist providers with clinical procedures

Draw blood and administer vaccines as needed

Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation

Support overall clinic operations and foster positive patient interactions

Required Skills

Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, including externship

Experience with phlebotomy/venipuncture and electronic medical records

Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

Proficiency with computer systems and clinical protocols

Additional Skills & Requirements

Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred

Occupational health experience is highly desirable

Relevant licensures such as BAT, UDS, or DOT are a plus (Sandi has these credentials)

Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment supporting women’s health and general patient needs

Availability to work during standard clinical hours, including mornings, evenings, and some Fridays

Experience in a primary care or occupational health setting preferredProviding compassionate, skilled support to patients while collaborating closely with clinical staff ensures a meaningful and impactful career.
