Packaging Operator / Manufacturing Operator 1 | Pay Rate: $22/hr

Job Title: Packaging Operator (Manufacturing Operator 1)
Work Location: 811 Paloma Drive, Suite A, Round Rock, TX 78665
Duration: ~6 Months (Contract to Direct / Temp-to-Perm Potential)
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr on W2
Schedule Time: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week).

Position Summary:

• Executes secondary packaging, labeling, and relabeling of reference standard solutions and neat material aliquots for catalog and custom-specific products.
• Initiates, reviews, and completes batch records and forms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to execution.
• Maintains strict adherence to site Quality and Safety policies, Good Housekeeping practices, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform secondary packaging, labeling, and relabeling operations for reference standard solutions.
• Initiate, review, and verify production batch records and forms for accuracy prior to packaging execution.
• Ensure all assigned packaging projects meet quality specifications, customer requirements, and target timelines.
• Maintain clean, organized packaging workstations in compliance with site safety policies and housekeeping standards.
• Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working around chemicals or active substances.
• Communicate project progress or delays promptly to team leads and department supervisors.

Must Have Skills:

• Industry Experience: Demonstrated work experience in the Life Science, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing industry.
• Quality & Documentation: Strong attention to detail with proven experience following batch records, forms, and quality guidelines.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Degree: Associate’s degree in a scientific or technical field is preferred.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED minimum.
• Packaging: Prior background in secondary packaging, product labeling, or sample preparation in a regulated setting.
