Job Description
The stocker works in the receiving and stocking area of a large distribution center, ensuring that incoming products are accurately received, organized, and stocked on shelves. This role focuses on maintaining precise inventory records, using RF scanners and other warehouse tools to support efficient material handling, order picking, and overall warehouse distribution operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Receive incoming products in the warehouse and verify quantities and item details against documentation.
- Stock shelves and designated racking locations with incoming items in an organized and efficient manner.
- Use RF scan guns and warehouse scanners to track inventory movement and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Monitor inventory levels and stay on top of stock accuracy, reporting discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Perform inspection of products and materials to ensure quality and correct labeling before stocking or shipping.
- Support order picking and material handling activities as needed to fulfill customer and internal orders.
- Assist with packing and preparing products for shipment within the warehouse distribution process.
- Cross-train with other stockers and warehouse areas to provide flexible support across the operation.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and work safely around wave riders in racking zones.
- Follow written and verbal instructions in English to complete daily tasks and meet productivity and accuracy goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse safety guidelines.
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Inventory experience, including maintaining accurate stock counts and records.
- Ability to use RF scan guns and warehouse scanners for inventory and order picking tasks.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, stocking, and inventory control.
- Ability to perform material handling tasks such as moving, lifting, and organizing products.
- Capability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Comfort working in a large distribution center environment with racking and active equipment traffic.
- Order picking experience using an RF scan gun is preferred.
- Experience in warehouse distribution or retail stocking environments is beneficial.
- Familiarity with packing and shipping processes in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to cross-train and work in multiple areas of the warehouse as needed.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a large distribution center featuring extensive racking systems and designated processing and desk areas for shipping activities. The environment is fast-paced, with wave riders and pallet jacks operated throughout the racking zones, requiring consistent attention to safety and awareness of equipment movement. The position is on a second shift, with a flexible schedule from Monday through Thursday, typically 12:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Work involves regular standing, walking, and material handling in a warehouse setting, with attire suitable for an active, industrial environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
