Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid, active California special education credential with authorization in moderate/severe disabilities (required)
- Experience working with TK-2 students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction for students with moderate to severe disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
- Utilize adaptive strategies and materials to ensure access and engagement
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent communication
