Balance Staffing is hiring Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representatives to assist health plan members and providers with questions about benefits, eligibility, coverage, authorizations, and more.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM EST
• Pay: $15/hr during training | $16/hr after training
• New Hire Orientation: October 5, 2026
• Training: October 12 – November 20, 2026
• Work Location: Remote

What You'll Do

• Answer inbound calls from members and providers
• Assist with benefits, eligibility, and coverage questions
• Help with authorizations, EOBs, physician look-ups, and status checks
• Research and resolve customer questions
• Make outbound calls and transfers as needed
• Navigate multiple computer systems while assisting customers
• Provide accurate and professional customer service

Qualifications

• 6+ months of healthcare experience preferred OR 1+ year of strong customer service or office experience
• Comfortable using phones and computers throughout the workday
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Call center experience is a plus
• Medicare/Medicaid experience is a plus

Work-From-Home Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Hard-wired Ethernet connection — Wi-Fi is not permitted
• Minimum 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload
• DSL, cable, or fiber internet
• Two 21" monitors — you provide one; Balance Staffing provides one
• Approved headset — employee is responsible for purchasing the required headset

Not accepted: Satellite, microwave, or cellular hotspot internet.
