Job Title: General Laborer - $20-21/hr
Job Description
The General Laborer supports the production process by performing a wide range of physical tasks on the shop floor. This role involves handling materials, operating basic machinery and equipment, assisting skilled workers, and helping ensure that production activities run safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The General Laborer also maintains a clean and organized work area to support a smooth and productive operation.
Shifts
1st shift ($20/hr): 6am - 4:30pm Monday-Thursday
2nd shift ($21/hr): 4:30pm - 2:30am Monday-Thursday
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials, components, and finished products to keep production lines supplied and moving efficiently.
- Operate basic production machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Assemble products and parts as directed, following instructions and quality standards.
- Perform general material handling duties, including moving, stacking, and organizing items using hand tools and equipment.
- Assist skilled workers and production staff with tasks that require additional support, such as staging materials or preparing work areas.
Essential Skills
- Experience performing general labor tasks in a production, manufacturing, or construction environment.
- Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively for material handling and assembly work.
- Comfort with general production activities, including operating simple machinery and equipment.
- Material handling skills, including lifting, carrying, and moving products and components throughout the facility.
- Ability to operate a sit-down forklift or willingness to learn and follow all forklift safety procedures.
- Capability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods, including standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motions.
- Strong attention to safety and adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Basic ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work within established processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labor, construction, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts.

Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
