What You'll DoAs a Medical Assistant, you'll be a vital member of the clinical team, helping ensure patients receive the highest level of care from check-in through treatment and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Obtain and accurately document vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other clinical information.
- Assist physicians and providers during examinations and office-based procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies to ensure efficient patient care.
- Coordinate patient flow and help maintain smooth daily clinic operations.
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, procedures, and follow-up care instructions.
- Perform clinical duties within scope of practice, including injections, EKGs, specimen collection, and other patient care activities as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to deliver outstanding patient care and service.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture.
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent training and experience.
- Previous experience in a physician office, specialty practice, clinic, or outpatient healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care and professionalism.
- One or more years of Medical Assistant experience.
- Experience supporting specialty care providers.
- Familiarity with insurance verification, care coordination, and patient scheduling.
- Experience performing EKGs, injections, and other clinical support functions.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
