MIG & TIG Welder – Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM
 Job Type: Full-Time
 Location: Tulsa, OK

HireCall is seeking an experienced Welder for a manufacturing client in Tulsa. This position is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in industrial equipment manufacturing, including high-performance air-cooled heat exchangers.
The ideal candidate will have strong MIG and TIG welding experience, prior ASME welding experience, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities
  • Weld carbon steel and stainless-steel components, including:
    • Tube-to-plate
    • Plate-to-plate
    • Pipe-to-plate
    • General structural steel components
  • Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment
  • Properly set up welding machines, tools, and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders
  • Perform visual inspections and pressure testing to ensure structural integrity
  • Complete welding repairs while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Work with Quality Control to address defects or non-conformance issues
  • Maintain welding tools and equipment in proper working condition
  • Follow production schedules and communicate work progress
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous ASME welding experience required
  • Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, Flux Core, and Pulse MIG welding processes
  • Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team

Welding Test Requirements
Class A Welders:

  • Ability to pass a 6G pipe test
  • TIG all the way out
  • Ability to pass a plate test
  • Pulse MIG
  • 3G
Class B Welders:

  • Ability to pass a 6G pipe test
  • Tube-to-tube welding
  • Tube-to-plate welding

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noise, dust, dirt, and metal particles.
Employees are required to wear appropriate PPE, including hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, OSHA-compliant safety boots/shoes, and additional respiratory protection when required.
Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; reach, bend, kneel, stoop, and climb ladders; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
