Software Developer

We are looking for a Web Developer to support the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of business-critical applications in Martinez, California. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can balance hands-on programming with analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and end-to-end delivery across web solutions, integrations, reports, and APIs. The role offers the opportunity to work across multiple technologies while contributing to reliable, scalable tools that support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
• Build, enhance, and maintain web-based and desktop-style applications using modern and legacy development technologies, including Microsoft-focused programming frameworks.
• Lead work through the full solution lifecycle by clarifying business needs, translating requirements into technical plans, estimating effort, and delivering completed features.
• Collaborate with business partners, technical teams, and vendors to define priorities, communicate progress, and ensure solutions align with operational goals.
• Develop and support custom system integrations, including connections between third-party SaaS platforms, internal applications, and external API services such as provider directory interfaces.
• Produce data extracts, operational reports, and application programming interfaces that improve access to information and streamline business processes.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, code review, deployment, and post-release support to maintain application quality and stability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, task breakdowns, and implementation details for new functionality and system updates.
• Contribute to development efforts within platforms such as ServiceNow and help incorporate automation or AI-driven capabilities into business applications and workflows.• 5+ years of experience in software or web development, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and production support.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ASP.NET in the development of interactive web applications.
• Working knowledge of reporting and data tools such as SSRS, along with experience producing extracts, reports, or related data deliverables.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow application development, implementation, or module configuration; ServiceNow Certified Developer certification is preferred.
• Experience integrating third-party systems, SaaS products, or vendor applications through custom interfaces or APIs.
• Exposure to multiple development languages or frameworks such as C#, VB.NET, Java, Node.js, Python, Angular, React, PowerShell, MySQL, or Redis.
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum delivery methods and the ability to manage work items in a collaborative development environment.
