Operations and Training Lead

Works under the direction of the Deputy Director to provide operational 
oversight, training leadership, and quality assurance for the Joint Office of Neighborhood Safety & Engagement.
Supports field teams in maintaining fidelity to safety protocols and prevention strategies. Develop and deliver 
training curricula for the Community Safety Support Corps (CSSC) including onboarding, professional development, 
and ongoing coaching aligned with national standards. Monitors field operations through real‑time communication 
tools, providing guidance, troubleshooting, and escalation support as needed. Conducts site visits, performance 
observations, and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with City standards, data requirements, and 
trauma‑informed practices. Supports rapid response and stabilization activations by coordinating logistics, 
communication flow, and interagency alignment. Assists with partnership coordination, including service providers, 
outreach agencies, and precinct‑level stakeholders. Maintains accurate records of training activities, operational 
updates, and field performance metrics. Contributes to continuous improvement of the City’s Comprehensive Public 
Safety Ecosystem through feedback loops, data‑informed adjustments, and cross‑sector collaboration.

Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, including 
presenting to staff, partners, and public audiences. Requires the ability to operate general office equipment such as a 
computer, telephone, and copier. Requires the ability to operate an automobile.
